Over the next couple of days, temperatures will get hotter. But the humidity will be higher than normal as well.
Temperatures will move up Monday, with most of the readings in the mid to lower 90s. Expect a mostly sunny afternoon with increasing evening clouds.
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop Monday afternoon this evening, mainly over the mountain foothills west of Billings and across southeastern Montana extending into northern Wyoming.
Heavy rain is possible in Southeast Montana, with gusty winds around thunderstorms. Hail, and even a slight tornado risk is present in the extreme corner of the state.
For Tuesday, temperatures will hit the upper 90s to triple digits. There is a better chance for widespread strong to severe storms by the afternoon and evening.
Cooler temperatures and mainly dry weather is expected for Wednesday and Thursday.

Monday… Mostly sunny and hot with a high near 95. A light southerly wind.
Monday night… Isolated area showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Otherwise, partly cloudy with a low of about 68.
Tuesday… Mostly sunny to start with a high near 100. Increasing clouds and an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Some storms could be severe.
