Q2 Weather: Cool and showery start to the weekend

A cooler outlook for the weekend, but the chance of severe storms is fading.

High temperatures will be mainly into the 60s to low 70s for today, with a good chance of showers and weaker thunderstorms. Things could be a little breezy from the west, making it feel cooler.

Cooler than average conditions continue on Saturday, but with only isolated showers. Highs will be mainly in the mid to lower 70s.

Upper 70s to around 80 on Sunday with a bit more sunshine, and continued warming into early next week. Highs will start to hit the mid to lower 80s, average for this time of the year.

Friday… Generally mostly cloudy, with a chance of showers or a thunderstorm possible in the afternoon. Around 67 for the high. Westerly wind 5 to 15 mph.

Friday night… Isolated evening showers and thunderstorms, otherwise partly cloudy. A low of about 52.

Saturday… A slight chance of showers with isolated thunderstorm possible. Otherwise partly to mostly sunny with a high near 74.
