BILLINGS – President Trump will visit Montana next week.
White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters said Thursday that Trump will be in Montana on July 5.
She did not confirm which city or cities.
Political experts believe that Trump is visiting Montana to support Matt Rosendale, the GOP candidate who will face incumbent U.S. Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) in the November election.
Sources in Billings told Q2 Thursday they had been contacted about a possible visit last week but have since been told to stand down.
Great Falls has been pegged as the other likely destination, according to media reports.
Donald Trump, Jr. visited Billings last Friday to stump for Rosendale.
