BILLINGS – A Wednesday fire at a Billings commercial building caused $1.2 million in damage, but the cause remains under investigation.
Billings Fire Marshal Mike Spini said in a release Thursday that the fire caused significant heat damage to the structural steel of Lynnrich Seamless, Siding, Windows and Doors at 510 Moore Lane.
The property and building contents were insured.
The Billings fire and police departments, along with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) finished their on-scene investigation Thursday.
Investigators plan to release more information on the cause later, Spini said.
