BILLINGS – Two Billings area events mark Flag Day on Thursday.
In Billings, the Elks Lodge 394 will hold a ceremony 6pm at the Elks Lodge located at 934 Lewis Ave.
The ceremony, hosted by The Elks Lodge 394, and American Legion Post 117 will include history of the flags through our time as a nation.
A flag retirement ceremony will follow. If you have a flag that has become worn, or faded, this is the place to take it to have it respectfully disposed of.

In Laurel, the Friends of the Yellowstone National Cemetery will also hold a Flag Day Ceremony at 6 p.m. at the Yellowstone National Cemetery on Thursday, June 14.
The cemetery is located at 55 Buffalo Trail Rd.
The public is encouraged to bring their faded and tattered U.S. Flags for proper disposal.
