Billings City Council to vote on One Big Sky development plan

Posted

BILLINGS – The Billings City Council will vote on the One Big Sky development plan Monday night.

The council already approved a memorandum of understanding to pay for the districts master development and engineering plans.

Backers say it’s a plan for growth with goals to create new jobs, provide an economic boost to the city, attract new businesses and more visitors. They’re planning a lifestyle center with health, wellness and recreation development and businesses.

The city and the Billings Chamber of Commerce, along with Big Sky Economic Development, the Tourism Business Improvement District and the Downtown Billings Partnership worked with Landmark Development on the proposal.
