Q2 Weather: It feels like spring, and then it feel like summer

Posted

The sun is out, and the warming begins.

Despite some morning patchy fog, sunshine will carry afternoon temperatures to mainly the 50s. The wind will be light out of the Southwest.

Clear to mostly clear overnight, with lows mainly in the 30s.

Wednesday will be warm and breezy, with temperatures pushing into the 60s to around 70°. A fast-moving clipper system brings a chance of late day showers and maybe a few thunderstorms Wednesday evening through the overnight hours.

The warmest temperatures will arrive late in the week. Friday could be well into the 70s, and Saturday holds the best chance for us to break 80° for an afternoon high.

Conditions remain generally dry through the week. A chance of showers will move back into the area early next week.

Billings forecast:

Tuesday… Patchy morning fog. Otherwise, sunny with a high near 56.

Tuesday night… Mostly clear with a low of about 35.

Wednesday… Sunny with a Southwest wind 10 to 20 mph. High of around 69.
