Billings firefighters responded to the Evergreen IGA on 13th Street West on Tuesday morning for a report of smoke inside the building.

Employees were asked to leave the building while fire crews inspected the source of the smoke.

Firefighters used the ladder truck to view the store’s roof.

Store employees called 911 when they noticed smoke coming from an electrical breaker at about 7:30 a.m.

A store manager told Q2 News power was out for a while, but it has since been restored.

They expect the store to reopen around 9 a.m.
