Q2 Weather: Typical spring ups and downs

Posted

First we warm it up, then the spring wind and rain make appearances.  Repeat as needed.

Saturday, the beginning of a warmer and drier weather period begins with high temperatures edging up to the 40s tow low 50s.

Sunday, highs are on track for the 50s to low 60s.

Monday, widespread 60s with even a 70 degree reading possible here or there.

Overnight temperatures will range from the mid-20s to mid-30s for the lower elevations.  Isolated showers are possible, especially closer to the mountains.

Monday night through Tuesday, expect wind, and chance of rain, and cooler temperatures.  Tuesday afternoon will be a little blustery in much of the area with highs in the 40s.

The warm up begins again Wednesday through Thursday.  Details are still unclear, but the potential for rain and wet snow showers exists Thursday.

Billings forecast:

Saturday….Partly sunny. Isolated afternoon showers. High near 55.

Saturday night…Mostly cloudy, and slipping to about 35 for the low.

Sunday…Partly sunny and about 61 for the high.
