BUTTE – Butte firefighters responded to a house fire in south Butte late Friday afternoon.
Heavy smoke was reported coming from the roof of this home in the 1400 block of Sunset Road just before 5 p.m. Friday.
Firefighters had to cut through the roof of the structure to get to the fire that was burning in a crawl space in the ceiling.
There were no reports of injuries and the cause remains under investigation.
