BILLINGS – Looks like Billings is just over an inch away from the seasonal snowfall record, and it looks like we could break it this weekend.
Q2 Chief Forecaster Bob McGuire says Billings hit 102.4 inches of snow Friday morning, just shy of the record of 103.5 inches in the winter of 2013-14. These numbers are according to the National Weather Service.
With more snow expected tonight and possibly tomorrow, Bob says there’s a good chance the record will fall.
Thursday, Billings was in the middle of the 3rd snowiest winter on record. Since then Billings has picked up a bunch of snow overnight. As of Friday morning at 11 a.m., Billings reported 102.4 inches of snow had fallen this winter. The record is 103.5 pic.twitter.com/BhJCbPabK1
