In this week's A Better You, Joey Traywick introduces us to some parents looking to carry on their son's legacy of giving.
Sheldon and Vicki Eaton lost their son, Ryan, to cancer. Ryan was a talented graphic designer and left his family with a mission.
While sick in the hospital, Ryan would use his iPad to keep up with friends, communicate with family and entertain himself.
Now his parents are trying to make life easier for patients in similar situations. And you can help, by getting up and getting active.
The Unite for the Night Glow Run is happening Saturday, October 3. The 5k run and 2-mile walk kick off at dusk at Pioneer Park.
Participants wear glowing gear and light up the night for United Luv. Proceeds will go to buy iPads for those who need them.
So far United Luv has donated nearly 200 iPads. You can register online at United Luv.
