In this week’s A Better You, Joey takes us to the Montana Audubon Center and talks with director Darcie Howard about this year’s Get Outside Montana.
Get Outside Montana is a free, summer long event that encourages families to spend the summer outdoors.
Some of the activities include hiking, biking, swimming, camping, scavenger hunts, and geocaching.
Families will compete as teams for the chance to win prizes. This year’s grand prize is a weekend raft, canoe, or kayak rental with a trailer donated by Sunshine Sports.
Get Outside Montana kicks off on June 7th.
A free T-shirt will be given out to those who sign up before 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 19.
