BILLINGS — Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Yellowstone County were honored at the Roaring 2020s Gala Saturday evening at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Billings.
Over $70K was raised at the largest fundraising event of the year for the non-profit organization.
"Big Brothers Big Sisters is a mentor program that focuses on one-on-one relationships between adult mentor volunteers and youth in the community that might be at risk, to give them that added support. We don't charge for any of our services, so fundraisers like this are really crucial to the success of our organization," said Hannah Olson, Development Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yellowstone County.
Over 300 guests attended to honor influential mentors apart of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yellowstone County.
The non-profit also had an auction for party-goers to bid on prizes like trips to New York, and other international destinations.
Olson also said that those wanting to volunteer or donate can go to their website to learn more.
