Update: Billings walkaway back in custody

Update 4:37 p.m. Walkaway Joshua Ebert was apprehended or self-surrendered and is in custody.

BILLINGS - An inmate walked away from the Alpha House Men's Prerelease Center on Friday morning.

Officials said Joshua Wayne Ebert, 22, left the center at 104 N. 31st St. at 10 a.m.

Ebert is described as a white male, 5-feet, 10-inches tall, 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Ebert was serving a sentence for felony burglary out of Teton County and arrived at the prerelease center on Aug. 1, 2019.

Anyone who has information about Ebert is asked to call local law enforcement.
