BILLINGS — A man sentenced in Yellowstone County for felony assault with a weapon has been reported as a walkaway from a Billings prerelease center.
Rusty Shane Castro, 24, left the Alpha House at 104 N. 31 St. at 6 p.m. Sunday, according to a press release. He was wearing a blue Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap, white T-shirt with a wolf design on it, blue basketball shorts and blue Converse shoes.
Castro is described as a Native American male, 5-feet, 11-inches tall, 223 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
He was sentenced in January for felony assault with a weapon in Yellowstone County and arrived at the prerelease center in July. He also has a felony theft conviction, according to state records.
Anyone with information about Castro is asked to call law enforcement.
