The polls have closed for Tuesday's Montana primary election.
At stake are the Republican and Democratic nominations for governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House and other statewide races, along with races for Yellowstone County commissioner and other local races.
In eastern Montana, eight Republicans are vying for their party's nod for the 2nd congressional district, while the Democrats have four candidates.
