Montana COVID-19 case rise to 298 Sunday afternoon

Montana added 11 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday afternoon, bringing the state's total to 298, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracker.

Two of those new cases were in Yellowstone County, a woman in her 40s and a man in his 60s. Yellowstone now has 40 reported cases.

Other new cases include five in Gallatin County, two in Missoula County and one in Flathead County. Gallatin County leads the state with 115 cases.

The state completed 186 tests since Sunday morning and has completed a total of 6,789 since the outbreak began.

COVID-19 has killed six people in Montana and hospitalized 24.
