Ahead of a cold front, Thursday afternoon highs will be in the neighborhood of record high readings in the 80s to low 90s. The warmest readings will be east of Billings. West winds will increase to gusts near 40 mph, and with low relative humidity, wildfire risk will increase.

A big cool down will follow with temperatures slipping to the 60s and low 70s for Friday and Saturday. Expect some showers and periods of wind, especially on Saturday.
