CENTRAL CARBON AND BIG HORN COUNTIES UNTIL 930 PM MST...
At 802 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of heavy snow along
a line from near Worden to 7 miles south of Pryor, moving east at 45
mph.
Locations impacted include...
Hardin, Lodge Grass, Crow Agency, Fort Smith, Ballantine, Worden,
Busby, Huntley, Shepherd, Lockwood, Pryor, St. Xavier, Wyola,
Pompeys Pillar, Rosebud Battlefield Park, and Tongue River
Reservoir.
Visibility under 1 mile and a quick 0.5" of snow should be expected.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this area of
snow. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads may
lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the snow passes
your location.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
