* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with
gusts up to 65 mph occurring. For the High Wind Warning, southwest
winds 35 to 50 mph with gusts to 75 mph expected.
* WHERE...Beartooth Foothills and Livingston Area.
* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 5 PM MST this afternoon. For
the High Wind Warning, from 5 PM this afternoon to 11 AM MST
Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile
vehicles. Strong crosswinds will make travel difficult along
Interstate 90 from Livingston to Big Timber and roads along the
Beartooth Foothills.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional periods of strong winds are
expected Wednesday into Thursday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution and consider postponing travel
until winds subside, or take an alternate route.
