...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern
Broadwater and northwestern Meagher Counties through 715 PM MDT...
At 632 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 22
miles northwest of White Sulphur Springs, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Logan On The Smith River, Newlan Creek Reservoir and Fort Logan.
This includes Highway 89 between mile markers 7 and 20.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
central and southwestern Montana.
