BILLINGS – A stretch of sunny, warmer summer weather ahead.
A few isolated thunderstorms rumbled through southeast Montana Friday evening and early Saturday morning. A few locations in Carter County reported quarter-inch to half-inch sized hail.
Convergence – air moving in to create some vertical lift – could trigger a few showers and thunderstorms mainly to the east of Billings Saturday evening and early Sunday morning.
Daytime highs across the region will continue to warm up over the next several days as a ridge of warm, dry high pressure builds over the northern Rockies and high plains.
Daytime highs for the Billings area will climb into the low 80s Sunday, and into the mid 90s by Tuesday.
