BILLINGS – More potentially severe thunderstorms are possible Monday evening.
The National Storms Prediction Center has once again issued a slight risk for severe thunderstorms for much of central and eastern Montana and north-central Wyoming Monday afternoon and evening.
If severe thunderstorms develop, they could contain up to quarter-sized hail, a low chance for flash flooding and wind gusts up to 60 mph.

A slight risk for potentially severe thunderstorms is also in play Tuesday afternoon and evening for the Billings area and surrounding communities to the east and south.
The forecast for Billings:
Tonight: Partly cloudy, a 30% chance of thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms could be severe. Tonight’s low: 59.
Tuesday: Not as warm with a 60% chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms could be severe. Tuesday’s high:79.
Tuesday Night: A 70% chance of thunderstorms – some potentially severe – and a low of 57.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy and cooler, a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms and a high of 71.
