Q2 Weather: Scattered rain and thunderstorms but looking good

BILLINGS – The overall look ahead is pretty pleasant.

In general, high temperatures will be in the 70s and 80s for the rest of the week. Lows will be in the 40s and 50s.

A chance of a shower or thunderstorm is in the mix most days, but no indications of strong to severe storms that can do damage.

Tuesday, showers and thunderstorms will favor areas east of Billings with a few isolated showers from Billings to the west. Otherwise, expect a mix of clouds and sun with highs in the upper 60s to mid-70s.

Wednesday appears generally sunny, warm and dry with highs well into the 70s to low 80s.

Thursday and Friday will be warmer, with more highs hitting the 80s. But the chance of late day showers and thunderstorms also increases.

Billings forecast:

Tuesday… A mix of clouds and sunshine with isolated showers in the afternoon. A high near 74 with a variable wind.

Tuesday night… Mostly clear with a low of about 51.

Wednesday… Sunny, warm and dry and around 80 for the high temperature.
