Q2 Weather: Still cool and still unsettled weather.

Posted

BILLINGS – A cool, damp weather pattern for the start of the work week.

Along with isolated showers and cooler temperatures, portions of south central Montana woke up to fog Sunday morning.

As is the case Sunday, unsettled weather over the next several days will keep temperatures at or below average. Some locations like Sheridan, Wyoming, have seen light snow accumulations mainly on grassy areas.

With overnight lows dipping into the 30s at many locations, a mix of rain and snow showers is likely at times Sunday night through later in the work week.

Although showers will begin to thin out on Tuesday, daytime temperatures will stay below average until closer to the weekend – mainly in the 40s and 50s.

The forecast for Billings

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, patchy fog, a 40% chance of showers and a low of 37.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, patch am fog, a 30% chance of showers and a high of 54.

Monday night: Cloudy and cool with a low of 39.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, a 40% chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms and a high of 57.
