BILLINGS – A Winter-like Spring storm system is headed our way.
After a nice break of partly cloudy skies and mild afternoon temperatures on Saturday, a cold, windy and wet storm system is headed our way.
A variety of Winter Weather advisories and warnings cover portions of western, northern, central and northeast Montana Saturday through Sunday afternoon. Wind advisories and warnings are also posted for portions of western Montana and northern Wyoming Saturday through Sunday evening.
Look for rain showers to begin across much of the region late Saturday night.
Gusty winds will accompany those rain showers on Sunday. Gusts of up to 50 mph are likely at times.
Rain will mix with snow Sunday night through Monday morning, posing some concerns for
Colder temperatures will settle in for the first part of the work week. Highs are likely to stay in the lower 40s Monday through Wednesday.

Monday: Mostly cloudy and cold with a 20% chance of showers and a high of 39.
