BILLINGS – Quiet for now, and perhaps the warmest day so far this year later in the week.
In the past 48 hours, Billings has received a quarter inch of precipitation. Now it looks like the showers will become very hit or miss through the weekend.
Showers are most likely in the mountains with a break from rain or snow in the lower elevations for Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will be close to seasonal averages, reaching highs in the upper 40s to mid-50s Tuesday, and a few degrees warmer Wednesday.
High temperatures should glide easily to the 60s Thursday with a chance of reaching at least a few low 70+ degree readings Friday.
Although details are unclear, the weekend looks to have at least a few shows developing, and Sunday could be breezy from Livingston to Billings.
