BILLINGS – Warmer and windy weather will finally melt some of this snow
A relatively tranquil day is being enjoyed across the state and region Sunday afternoon.
Surface high pressure will allow for some down-sloping winds and warming temperatures Sunday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon.
Daytime highs will edge into the 30s and 40s with even a few 50 degree readings possible across the plains by Tuesday afternoon.
As the warmer weather melts the snow, expect lowland ponding to occur as well as some potential ice jamming along local waterways.
