BILLINGS – Unsettled weather to start the week, but the dry pattern and warmer than average temperatures will return.

Wind will blow across most of eastern Montana and northern Wyoming today, with wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph common. Around Livingston, winds of 50 to 60 mph are possible.

A few showers along a cold front moving from west to east are also possible, with wind likely in Eastern Montana through the afternoon and early evening. Some of the strongest winds will be through central and southern Wyoming where a High Wind Warning will affect travel.

Monday afternoon highs will be mainly in the 30s to low 40s, with overnight temperatures in the mid teens to lower 20s for the lower elevations. Tuesday will be sunny but cooler with highs mainly in the 30s.

Periods of wind will continue around the Livingston area throughout the week, but otherwise look for temperatures above seasonal averages and generally dry conditions. Highs will be mainly in the 40s and lows mainly in the 20s from Wednesday onward.
