Winds of been decreasing around Big Timber and Harlowton, and will gradually start to ease around the Livingston area. Still, travelers could run into 50 to 60 mph wind gusts along I-90 especially Friday morning.
Temperatures Friday and Saturday are expected to reach mainly into the 40s. Cold air from the Bighorn Basin of northern Wyoming continue to follow the river valleys and hold up our warm up a little in the Billings area.
Expect a quiet weekend overall, but by Sunday winds will increase around Livingston once again with breezy conditions in Billings on Monday. Snow will likely impact the west-facing slopes of the mountains Sunday and Sunday night, the dry conditions across the plains remain.
While there are a few wrinkles in the forecast, warmer and drier than average conditions look likely next week.
