Q2 Weather: Back and forth between colder and warmer days

BILLINGS- Expect shifts in the weather pattern every other day through the weekend.

Temperatures will stay colder than average on Thursday and Friday, with highs mainly in the 20s. The chilliest readings will be Thursday through Friday morning, with Thursday afternoon readings in the mid to lower 20s, and temperatures Friday morning in the single digits to low teens.

Light winds will allow areas of fog to persist Thursday morning, and areas of light snow could develop through Thursday afternoon.

Friday remains chilly, but with some breaks of afternoon sun.

Winds will increase Friday night into Saturday, with strong gust down the East mountain slopes. Temperatures will warm over the weekend hitting the 30s to low 40s for the afternoon highs Saturday and Sunday.

Colder air returns early next week, with highs in the teens and 20s Monday and mainly the 20s on Tuesday.
