For my forecast today can I just refer you to my forecast from yesterday? Because we are in for a repeat performance from Mother Nature.

Clear and cold again here today but tacking a couple extra degrees on to the temperatures around the region. The exception is the northeast where temperatures are much colder this morning compared to yesterday when there was overnight cloud cover. This will affect their daytime high temperatures as they have a much colder hole to climb out of.

Temperatures generally up in to the 30s today, again the exception being in the northeast.

The breeze will be a factor again today with wind chill values knocking feels-like temperatures down a few degrees. The winds will pick up later into the day and into Saturday.

While the short-term effect of these winds is cooler wind chill readings, they are also the winds of change and they are working to scour some of that cold air out and push a warmer air mass into place.

We should feel this warm-up tomorrow as high temperatures for Saturday will climb to around the 40-degree mark in a lot of places. The wind will once again be a factor on Saturday, but that is the main forecast highlight as skies will remain clear and bright.
