BILLINGS – A shift to a cooler and somewhat wetter weather pattern is already happening.
Cooler temperatures, with highs in the mid-40s to mid-50s, will persist through the week. There will be areas of showers off-and-on, but no major storm systems.
Monday, a chance of especially morning showers could even bring a little thunder and lightning to the mountains. Otherwise, the best chance of showers will be in the morning with some clearing in the afternoon.
While the chance of showers decreases through Monday, expect a breezy afternoon.
Tuesday, there is less shower activity, but the westerly winds persist.
There is a chance of showers Wednesday that could influence plans for Halloween. The overall pattern does not change much through Thursday.
