Q2 Weather: Pleasant Sunday but fall shift on the horizon

Posted

Even though this morning started with some early showers and cloud cover, we have still broken through to a pleasant and mostly sunny afternoon with temperatures approaching the 60 degree mark.

We saw some chinks in the armor of our stretch of beautiful fall weather this week with some spotty showers and breezy conditions, but a wholesale change never quite set in.

This week appears to be the week that we do see a regime change to more of a fall feel. Just in time for everyone to be out and about trick or treating on Wednesday, but hey, it just wouldn’t be the week of Halloween if there wasn’t talk of some slightly adverse weather.

Sunday should still be a great day. I’m forecasting temperatures up into the mid 60s and more sunshine. By later in the day we could see the beginning s of a more unsettled pattern with some clouds moving in and temperatures dropping.

Monday looks to bring us some early day showers and temperatures about 10 degrees colder than Sunday.

The rest of the week stays cooler, high temperatures will be around the 50 degree mark, and there are slightly chances for some additional precipitation through next weekend.
