BILLINGS – A cool and showery weekend ahead.

As the Friday morning showers decrease, clouds will linger through the afternoon with only breaks of sunshine.  High temperatures will be held to the 40s and a few low 50s.

Saturday will remain cool thanks to a reinforcing shot of cold, Canadian air.  Morning temperatures are back to the 30s, with 40s in the afternoon.

By Saturday night, the chance of rain and snow returns through Sunday.  Even the lower elevations, including Billings, have a chance of seeing some snow, although it won’t stick around.

Highs stay in the 40s for most places through the weekend, with lows in the 30s.  Expect Monday to be warmer and drier, with highs in the mid-to-lower 60s.

Billings Forecast:

Friday: A 30% chance of morning rain and snow showers, but snow will not accumulate. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. East wind 5 to 15 mph.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. East wind 5 to 15 mph.

Saturday: A slight chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
