BILLINGS – Every afternoon has been getting hotter. This weekend, we switch directions.
Expect high temperatures in the 80s to lower 90s Friday, with low humidity. An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible during the afternoon and evening.
As a cold front moves through the area Saturday, the chances for showers and thunderstorms are higher. High temperatures will back off to mainly the 80s with a mix of clouds and sun.
Some storms, especially south and east of Billings, have the potential for strong winds Saturday afternoon and evening.
High pressure will bring drier conditions back to the area, but the cooling trend continues Sunday, with highs of mid-70s to maybe a few low 80s.
