BILLINGS – Warm temperatures continue with isolated storms possible.

Highs Thursday afternoon will be mainly in the 80s with a mostly sunny sky.  Winds are generally light through the day.

Friday begins mild, with lows mainly in the 50s.  By the afternoon, Friday’s high temperatures will reach the mid-80s to around 90 degrees.

Both Thursday and Friday evenings, there is a slight risk of thunderstorms.  These will concentrate on areas from the mountains west of Billings to perhaps as far east as Billings.

With dry air over the area, gusty winds are the biggest concern from these storms.

Billings forecast:

Thursday… Mostly sunny with a high of about 86. Light easterly wind.

Thursday night… Mostly clear to partly cloudy with a 20% chance of evening storms. Low around 56.

Wednesday… Mostly sunny and warmer.  Near 89 for the high.  Isolated late day storms.
