Q2 Weather: Warmer temperatures each day through Friday

Posted
and last updated

After a cool down on Tuesday, the heat is building back up.

Wednesday will be sunny and warmer with afternoon high temperatures reach the upper 70s to low 80s. That is about a ten-degree jump up compared with Tuesday afternoon readings.

The days will continue to warm through Friday when highs could easily make the upper 80s to low 90s.

Wednesday looks dry, but both Thursday and Friday afternoons and evenings have a chance of a few isolated storms developing in the mountains. Some of these storms could move off the higher elevations and move out toward Billings.

The plains of eastern Montana are more likely to stay dry.

Billings forecast:

Wednesday… Sunny with an easterly breeze.  High around 78.

Wednesday night… Mostly clear and near 52 for the low.

Thursday… Mainly sunny and about 86 for the high. Isolated late afternoon or evening storms possible.
