BILLINGS – The temperatures change from day-to-day, but the dry conditions continue.

Cooler air is spilling down from Canada across Montana on Tuesday.  Across the state, temperatures will be held to the 60s and 70s despite plenty of sun.

Cool overnight, with chilly morning readings in the 30s and 40s.

By Wednesday afternoon, a building high-pressure ridge boosts afternoon temperatures up about ten degrees compared to Tuesday.  Highs will be in the 70s to low 80s.

The warm-up will progress through Friday when highs are trending toward the upper 80s to low 90s.  Cooler air will follow over the weekend.

Billings forecast:

Tuesday… Sunny and around 69 for the high.  Easterly wind 5-15 mph.

Tuesday night… Mostly clear and about 46 for a low.

Wednesday… Sunny and near 79 for a high.
