The pleasant long weekend conditions here today with temperatures approaching 80 degrees and plenty of afternoon sunshine.

Tomorrow in our part of the state things warm up even further as we see a wind shift to the southwest, which is always a warm and dry wind for us. This helps us pick up a few more degrees and warm up into the mid 80s. There should be sunshine aplenty for Monday afternoon.

A cold front sweeps across the region in the overnight hours and morning on Tuesday. This will bring some small chances for scattered showers and storms early on Tuesday and will bring much cooler air to the region.

High temperatures for Tuesday afternoon will be right around the 70 degree mark.

This dip in tempereatures will likely be short lived as steady and sunny conditions should dominate the rest of the week and allow things to warm up back above seasonal and help us forget that fall is just around the corner.

One thing we start to notice this time of year is cooler morning low temperatures, especially on clear nights things can cool down a bit more. But the warm afternoons we are expecting should make up for it as we get into the beginning of September.

Enjoy the rest of the long weekend everyone!
