Q2 Weather: Long weekend starting off right

Posted

Conditions are setting up nicely for our long weekend to progress as pleasantly as initially expected.

We have seen some extra cloud cover coming off a system in southern Canada making its way a little further south than we expected, but it has not done anything to knock down temperatures, as we have already eclipsed the 80 degree mark.

The only thing we could complain about is some slightly breezy conditions. We can expect tomorrow to remain a little breezy but winds are likely diminishing into Monday.

The holiday Monday is still shaping up to be the warmest day of the long weekend, temperatures here in Billings are forecast to get into the mid 80s.

Tuesday will come with a notable cooldown, afternoon highs will liekly stay below 70 degrees as a well defined cold front moves through the region, but precipitation chances are fairly limited.

Temperatures will not stay down for long. We will rebound to above seasonal levels later in the week.

Welcome to September! Mother Nature appears to be easing us into the changing of the seasons with some sunny and mostly dry conditions for the forecast period.
