Things are looking to stay relatively clear here this afternoon, albeit with slightly cooler temperatures than yesterday and some haze and smoke keeping the skies from being entirely clear.
As we head into the afternoon tomorrow we likely get a slightly warmer day out ahead of a cold front. Temperatures here in Billings likely getting up into the upper 70s. Skies will cloud over the course of the day and there is small chance of some scattered showers.
Chances for rain go way up heading into Monday. While precipitation goes up, temperatures will come down. Monday will be the coolest day of the week and perhaps even the month. Temperatures right now are forecast to be right around the 60 degree mark.
If temperatures fail to reach 60 degrees it will mark the third time this august that has happened, and the first time this has ever happened in Billings since records have been kept.
Conditions will level out and more closely resemble seasonal averages in the middle portion of the week.
