HELP ARRIVES: The USNS Mercy, a U.S. Navy hospital ship, arrived at the port of Los Angeles on Friday to help relieve some of the pressure on local hospitals treating coronavirus patients.
The Department of Defense says “the ship will serve as a referral hospital for non-COVID-19 patients currently admitted to shore-based hospitals."
