GREAT FALLS — Mighty Mo Brewing Company hosted its annual MOtoberfest in downtown Great Falls on Saturday.
They have been part of the festival for more than four years now.
Mighty Mo wanted to do something a little bit different this year, so they teamed up with the Downtown Great Falls Association and had their first-ever "mile beer run."
Participants ran a quarter of a mile and chugged a beer to get to the next quarter of a mile.
Kaara Williams explained, “I ran today because there was beer and running, so you feel like you're going to be fit as well as drinking a lot of beer, so it sounded good."
“People loved it, we used to run across the river for this event and this lets more amateur runners still be involved,” said Seth Swingley, Mighty Mo manager.
The also had options for runners to be part of relay teams or two or four-person teams.
They also had a band and food after the run and bottomless mugs.
