KALISPELL – Authorities report they have identified human remains found near Rose Crossing in April.
Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino said the remains as those of Corey Michael Flanningan who was reported missing from the Spokane area on May 2, 2017.
Heino said after Flannigan’s vehicle was found crashed near Rose Crossing two days a search was launched but Flannigan was not found at the time.
A person reported what he believed were human remains on April 4, 2019, in a wooded area near his home.
Heino said the case remains under investigation.
