“Blackfoot Pathways: Sculpture in the Wild” among Montana tourism award winners

The Montana Tourism Awards, held Monday in Butte, are celebrating people who enhance the state’s tourism industry.

Lincoln’s rural sculpture park, called Blackfoot Pathways: Sculpture in the Wild, is this year’s winner of the Heritage and Cultural Tourism award.

The park’s sculptures are made by international artists, out of locally harvested material, according to a press release from the Department of Commerce.

Other winners include:

  • Darby and Hamilton for Film Communities of the Year, for their support of the TV series Yellowstone
  • Shelby and the carousel rest area won the Private and Public Collaboration award
  • Betty Stone of Glasgow won Tourism Ambassador of the Year
  • Gardiner Chamber of Commerce/Convention and Visitors Bureau won the Marketing Campaign of the Year
  • Stephanie Sorini of Butte won Outstanding Tourism Volunteer
