Georgetown College (KY) beat Carroll College Tuesday night 68-48 in the NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship in Kansas City.
The Tigers jumped out to a 14-4 lead and led 35-15 at halftime. Carroll only hit six field goals in the first half and was 1-14 on three-point shooting before the break.
This was Carroll’s first trip to the NAIA men’s championship game. Georgetown was making its seventh appearance and has now won three national titles. The Tigers were this year’s overall top seed.
