MISSOULA – Steve Bannon’s speaking engagement on the University of Montana campus set for next week has been canceled.
Bannon was scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the 15th International Conference on Advances in Computer Entertainment Technology (ACE) on December 11.
It was announced Tuesday on the website that the conference was shut down “by fanatic left-wing anti-free speech protests.”
The group’s website touts ACE as the leading scientific forum for the dissemination of cutting-edge research results in the area of entertainment computing.
Bannon was President Donald Trump’s former chief strategist and founding member of Breitbart News, a far-right news, opinion and commentary website.
