BUTTE – Butte police and SWAT had a 3-hour standoff with a fugitive who barricaded himself inside a residence on Mercury Street near Washington Street.
The standoff ended about 7:30 p.m. Sunday after officers apprehended the man inside the home. The wanted man was arrested and no injuries were reported.
Butte police will give more details Monday.
